Microsoftin huhuttu uusi hakupalvelu ei lupaa hyvää ainakaan nimen (Kumo) puolesta, eikä tunnu toimivan vielä ainakaan käytännössä:

Nimet eivät käännettäessä aina tuota positiivista vaikutelmaa. Tästä esimerkkinä erään logienseurantasoftan tekijä:

Voin kuvitella, miten Suomessa Ian-parka saisi kuulla loputtomasti naljailua nimestään.

Are you referring to Apache Logs Viewer????

Hi Ian!
It’s only a silly post playing with words. The first pic refers to the rumoured Microsoft search engine which is named “Kumo”, and means – loosely translated – “down” (as in a “the web site is down”) in Finnish.
The second one is actually semi-silly observation of your last name, which is Finnish and translates (not surprisingly) to “bugs”. Since it’s directly a word in Finnish and related to programming it just stuck my eye.
The translated title of the post is “Kumo.com soon up, and Ian Bugeja coding.” So it actually doesn’t make any sense, but trust me, it’s not offending and doesn’t imply anything about your coding skills. On the contrary, I have tested Apache Log Viewer and found it to work as advertised!
